  • Started law enforcement career in 1963 at DeKalb Police Dept. (patrol officer and detective)

  • Rochelle Police Dept. in 1970 (patrol officer and later at head of investigations)

  • Rochelle Chief firearms instructor

  • 1985 hired as Chief of Police at Genoa Police Dept

  • 1989 left Genoa to work at Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co. Security and promoted to Security Manager

  • 1989-2002 Worked part-time law enforcement for Sycamore Police Dept. and Sugar Grove Police Dept.

  • Retired from Caterpillar – 2008

David Reimer - Instructor

  • NRA Certified Instructor

  • Shooting for over 50 years

  • Worked at competitive bullseye shooting for a number of years

  • Patient teaching style comes from 12 years as a SCUBA diving instructor

  • Educational background is in Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Medicine Technology
